Inference of chromospheric magnetic fields in a sunspot derived from spectropolarimetry of Ca II 8542 A
Ali G. A. Abdelkawy, Abdelrazek M. K. Shaltout, M. M. Beheary +1
We analyze spectropolarimetric observations of the chromospheric Ca II 8542 A line taken by the Interferometric Bidimensional Spectrometer (IBIS) at the Dunn Solar Telescope. The d…
The chromospheric magnetic field in active regions derived from spectropolarimetry of Ca II 8542
Ali G. A. Abdelkawy, Abdelrazek M. K. Shaltout, M. M. Beheary
We analyze spectropolarimetric observations of the chromospheric Ca II 8542 line taken by the Interferometric Bidimensional Spectrometer (IBIS) at the Dunn Solar Telescope and phot…
The LTE solar abundance of neodymium
A. G. A. Abdelkawy, Abdelrazek M. K. Shaltout, M. M. Beheary +1
We study the solar photospheric abundance of singly ionized neodymium (Nd II) using high resolution spectroscopic data obtained by Fourier transform spectrograph (FTS). Based on th…
Stellar parameters of Be stars observed with X-shooter
A. Shokry, Th. Rivinius, A. Mehner +10
Aims. The X-shooter archive of several thousand telluric star spectra was skimmed for Be and Be-shell stars to derive the stellar fundamental parameters and statistical properties,…
