Three-Dimensional Dust Distribution in the Jovian System from Juno/Waves Observations: Insights into the Halo Ring and Magnetospheric Dust
Yuqi Zhang, Shengyi Ye, Yuting Li +3
Discoveries regarding the dusty rings of Jupiter and the Galilean satellites' dust environment have been continuously refined by orbiters and flybys. Leveraging Juno Waves instrume…
MHD Simulations Preliminarily Predict The Habitability and Radio Emission of TRAPPIST-1e
BoRui Wang, ShengYi Ye, J. Varela +1
As the closest Earth-like exoplanet within the habitable zone of the M-dwarf star TRAPPIST-1, TRAPPIST-1e exhibits a magnetic field topology that is dependent on space weather cond…
Seasonal structures in Saturn's dusty Roche Division correspond to periodicities of the planet's magnetosphere
R. O. Chancia, M. M. Hedman, S. W. H. Cowley +2
We identify multiple periodic dusty structures in Saturn's Roche Division, a faint region spanning the km between the A and F rings. The locations and extent of these fe…
Spatial Variations in the Dust-to-Gas Ratio of Enceladus' Plume
M. M. Hedman, D. Dhingra, P. D. Nicholson +4
On day 138 of 2010, the plume of dust and gas emerging from Enceladus' South Polar Terrain passed between the Sun and the Cassini spacecraft. This solar occultation enabled Cassini…
