Locally Decodable Index Codes
Lakshmi Natarajan, Prasad Krishnan, V. Lalitha +1
An index code for broadcast channel with receiver side information is locally decodable if each receiver can decode its demand by observing only a subset of the transmitted codewor…
Index Codes with Minimum Locality for Three Receiver Unicast Problems
Smiju Kodamthuruthil Joy, Lakshmi Natarajan
An index code for a broadcast channel with receiver side information is 'locally decodable' if every receiver can decode its demand using only a subset of the codeword symbols tran…
MIMO Codes for Uniform Illumination across Space and Time in VLC with Dimming Control
T. Uday, Abhinav Kumar, L. Natarajan
Indoor visible light communications (VLC) require simultaneous illumination and communication. Hence, uniformity in the illumination is a key consideration for user comfort and dat…
Locality in Index Coding for Large Min-Rank
Lakshmi Natarajan, Hoang Dau, Prasad Krishnan +1
An index code is said to be locally decodable if each receiver can decode its demand using its side information and by querying only a subset of the transmitted codeword symbols in…
Codes for Updating Linear Functions over Small Fields
Suman Ghosh, Lakshmi Natarajan
We consider a point-to-point communication scenario where the receiver maintains a specific linear function of a message vector over a finite field. When the value of the message v…
