Fast Channel Estimation and Beam Tracking for Millimeter Wave Vehicular Communications
Sina Shaham, Ming Ding, Matthew Kokshoorn +3
Millimeter wave (mmWave) has been claimed to be the only viable solution for high-bandwidth vehicular communications. However, frequent channel estimation and beamforming required…
Ray-of-Arrival Passing for Indirect Beam Training in Cooperative Millimeter Wave MIMO Networks
Matthew Kokshoorn, He Chen, Yonghui Li +1
This paper is concerned with the channel estimation problem in multi-cell Millimeter (mmWave) wireless systems. We develop a novel Ray-of-Arrival Passing for Indirect (RAPID) Beam…
Fast Channel Estimation for Millimetre Wave Wireless Systems Using Overlapped Beam Patterns
Matthew Kokshoorn, Peng Wang, Yonghui Li +1
This paper is concerned with the channel estimation problem in millimetre wave (MMW) wireless systems with large antenna arrays. By exploiting the sparse nature of the MMW channel,…
RAF: Robust Adaptive Multi-Feedback Channel Estimation for Millimeter Wave MIMO Systems
Sina Shaham, Matthew Kokshoorn, Zihuai Lin +1
Millimeter wave is a promising technology for the next generation of wireless systems. As it is well-known for its high path loss, the systems working in this spectrum tend to expl…
