FDD Massive MIMO -- Antenna Duplex Pattern an-Reciprocity : A Missing Brick
Patrick C. F. Eggers, Stanislav S. Zhekov
Obtaining down link (DL) channel state information (CSI) at the base station (BS) is challenging for frequencydivision-duplex (FDD) massive MIMO (MM) systems. Considerable overhead…
A Stochastic Singular Vector Based MIMO Channel Model for MAC Layer Tracking
Tim W. C. Brown, Patrick C. F. Eggers
A novel stochastic technique is presented to directly model singular vectors and singular values of a multiple input multiple output channel. Thus the component smodeled directly i…
Wireless Channel Modeling Perspectives for Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communications
Patrick C. F. Eggers, Marko Angjelichinoski, Petar Popovski
Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communication (URLLC) is one of the distinctive features of the upcoming 5G wireless communication, going down to packet error rates (PER) of .…
Geometry-Based Stochastic Channel Models for 5G: Extending Key Features for Massive MIMO
Alex Oliveras Martinez, Patrick Eggers, Elisabeth De Carvalho
This paper introduces three key features in geometry-based stochastic channel models in order to include massive MIMO channels. Those key features consists of multi-user (MU) consi…
