Fixed points and cycle structure of random permutations
Sumit Mukherjee
Using the recently developed notion of permutation limits this paper derives the limiting distribution of the number of fixed points and cycle structure for any convergent sequence…
Persistence of Gaussian processes: non-summable correlations
Amir Dembo, Sumit Mukherjee
Suppose the auto-correlations of real-valued, centered Gaussian process are non-negative and decay as for some regularly varying at infinity of ord…
Universality of the mean-field for the Potts model
Anirban Basak, Sumit Mukherjee
We consider the Potts model with colors on a sequence of weighted graphs with adjacency matrices , allowing for both positive and negative weights. Under a mild regularity…
Inference in Ising Models
Bhaswar B. Bhattacharya, Sumit Mukherjee
The Ising spin glass is a one-parameter exponential family model for binary data with quadratic sufficient statistic. In this paper, we show that given a single realization from th…
Degree Sequence of Random Permutation Graphs
Bhaswar B. Bhattacharya, Sumit Mukherjee
In this paper we study the degree sequence of the permutation graph associated with a sequence of random permutations. Joint limiting distributions of the de…
