Prospects for dark matter observations in dwarf spheroidal galaxies with the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory
K. Abe, S. Abe, J. Abhir +491
The dwarf spheroidal galaxies (dSphs) orbiting the Milky Way are widely regarded as systems supported by velocity dispersion against self-gravity, and as prime targets for the sear…
Possible evidence for the 478 keV emission line from Be decay during the outburst phases of V1369 Cen
L. Izzo, T. Siegert, P. Jean +4
After decades of uncertainty about the origin of lithium, recent evidence suggests Galactic novae as its main astrophysical source. In this work, we present possible evidence for t…
Galactic transient sources with the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory
Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory Consortium
A wide variety of Galactic sources show transient emission at soft and hard X-ray energies: low- and high-mass X-ray binaries containing compact objects, isolated neutron stars exh…
Prospects for a survey of the Galactic plane with the Cherenkov Telescope Array
CTA Consortium
Approximately one hundred sources of very-high-energy (VHE) gamma rays are known in the Milky Way. A survey of the entire Galactic Plane in the energy range from a few tens of GeV…
