An Informativeness-based Clustered Federated Learning Method for Reliable Traffic Prediction in Managed Wi-Fi Networks
Luca Barbieri, Gianluca Fontanesi, Lorenzo Galati Giordano +2
Centrally-managed Wi-Fi solutions are increasingly leveraging Distributed Artificial Intelligence (AI) to predict key operational statistics of Access Points (APs) and proactively…
Cluster-Specific Predictive Modeling: A Scalable Solution for Resource-Constrained Wi-Fi Controllers
Gianluca Fontanesi, Luca Barbieri, Lorenzo Galati Giordano +2
This manuscript presents a comprehensive analysis of predictive modeling optimization in managed Wi-Fi networks through the integration of clustering algorithms and model evaluatio…
Multi-Target Localization in Multi-Static Integrated Sensing and Communication Deployments
Maximilian Bauhofer, Silvio Mandelli, Marcus Henninger +2
In future wireless communication networks, existing active localization will gradually evolve into more sophisticated (passive) sensing functionalities. One main enabler for this p…
Minimizing Energy Consumption in MU-MIMO via Antenna Muting by Neural Networks with Asymmetric Loss
Nuwanthika Rajapaksha, Jafar Mohammadi, Stefan Wesemann +2
Transmit antenna muting (TAM) in multiple-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) networks allows reducing the power consumption of the base station (BS) by properly utilizin…
CRAP: Clutter Removal with Acquisitions Under Phase Noise
Marcus Henninger, Silvio Mandelli, Artjom Grudnitsky +2
The emergence of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) in future 6G networks comes with a variety of challenges to be solved. One of those is clutter removal, which should be…
6G Integrated Sensing and Communication: From Vision to Realization
Thorsten Wild, Artjom Grudnitsky, Silvio Mandelli +3
Integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) will be deployed into cellular communication systems possibly already with 5G-A and surely in 6G. This paper discusses ISAC use cases,…
