Anderson-Witting model of the relativistic Boltzmann equation near equilibrium
Byung-Hoon Hwang, Seok-Bae Yun
Anderson-Witting model is a relaxational model equation of the relativistic Boltzmann equation, which sees a wide application in physics. In this paper, we study the existence of c…
Quantum BGK model near a global Fermi-Dirac distribution
Gi-Chan Bae, Seok-Bae Yun
In this paper, we consider the existence and asymptotic behavior of the fermionic quantum BGK model, which is a relaxation model of the quantum Boltzmann equation for fermions. Mor…
Gain of regularity for the relativistic collision operator
Jin Woo Jang, Seok-Bae Yun
We study a regularity property for the gain part of the relativistic Boltzmann collision operator. Our assumptions on the collisional scattering kernel cover the full range of gene…
Stationary solutions to the boundary value problem for relativistic BGK model in a slab
Byung-Hoon Hwang, Seok-Bae Yun
In this paper, we are concerned with the boundary value problem in a slab for the stationary relativistic BGK model of Marle type, which is a relaxation model of the relativistic B…
Global existence of weak solutions for Navier-Stokes-BGK system
Young-Pil Choi, Seok-Bae Yun
In this paper, we study the global well-posedness of a coupled system of kinetic and fluid equations. More precisely, we establish the global existence of weak solutions for Navier…
