The HAWC ultra-high-energy gamma-ray map with more than 5 years of data
Kelly Malone, José Andrés García González, Patrick Harding
In 2020, the HAWC Collaboration presented the first catalog of gamma-ray sources emitting above 56 TeV and 100 TeV. With nine sources detected, this was the highest-energy source c…
An updated survey of Active Galaxies with the HAWC gamma-ray observatory
Fernando Ureña-Mena, Alberto Carramiñana, Daniel Rosa-González +2
We present an update of the survey of Active Galaxies with the High Altitude Water Cherenkov (HAWC) gamma-ray observatory. This work adds 567 days of HAWC data to the previously pu…
Study of the long-term Very High Energy emission of the blazars 1ES 1215+3031 and VER J0521+211 with the HAWC gamma-ray observatory
Fernando Ureña-Mena, Alberto Carramiñana, Anna Lia Longinotti +2
Blazars are the most abundant type of extragalactic gamma-ray source, usually presenting high variability across the electromagnetic spectrum. Their Very High Energy (VHE, above 0.…
An optimized search for dark matter in the galactic halo with HAWC
A. Albert, R. Alfaro, C. Alvarez +63
The Galactic Halo is a key target for indirect dark matter detection. The High Altitude Water Cherenkov (HAWC) observatory is a high-energy (~300 GeV to >100 TeV) gamma-ray detecto…
