Determining the Higgs spin and parity in the di-photon decay channel using gluon polarization
Wilco J. den Dunnen, Marc Schlegel
Gluons inside an unpolarized proton are in general linearly polarized. This polarization can, in principle, be used to determine the spin and parity of the newly found Higgs-like b…
Polarized hadron pair production from electron-positron annihilation
D. Pitonyak, M. Schlegel, A. Metz
We study the production of two almost back-to-back hadrons from the annihilation of an electron and a positron, allowing for the polarization of all particles involved. In particul…
Determining the Higgs spin and parity in the diphoton decay channel
Daniel Boer, Wilco J. den Dunnen, Cristian Pisano +1
We calculate the diphoton distribution in the decay of arbitrary spin-0 and spin-2 bosons produced from gluon fusion, taking into account the fact that gluons inside an unpolarized…
Model Prediction for the Transverse Single Target-Spin Asymmetry in inclusive DIS
Marc Schlegel
The single-spin asymmetry of unpolarized leptons scattering deep-inelastically off transversely polarized nucleons is discussed. This observable is generated by a two-photon exchan…
