Characterization of debris disks observed with SPHERE
N. Engler, J. Milli, N. Pawellek +33
This study aims to characterize debris disks observed with SPHERE across multiple programs, with the goal of identifying systematic trends in disk morphology, dust mass, and grain…
Disk Evolution Study Through Imaging of Nearby Young Stars (DESTINYS): Evidence of planet-disk interaction in the 2MASSJ16120668-3010270 system
C. Ginski, P. Pinilla, M. Benisty +28
The architectures of exoplanet systems are likely set during the initial planet-formation phase in the circumstellar disk. To understand this process, we have to study the earliest…
Disk Evolution Study Through Imaging of Nearby Young Stars (DESTINYS): Late infall causing disk misalignment and dynamic structures in SU Aur
C. Ginski, S. Facchini, J. Huang +19
Gas-rich circumstellar disks are the cradles of planet formation. As such, their evolution will strongly influence the resulting planet population. In the ESO DESTINYS large progra…
CS Cha B: A disc-obscured M-type star mimicking a polarised planetary companion
S. Y. Haffert, R. G. van Holstein, C. Ginski +6
Context. Direct imaging provides a steady flow of newly discovered giant planets and brown dwarf companions. These multi-object systems can provide information about the formation…
