Single-emitter quantum key distribution over 175 km of fiber with optimised finite key rates
Christopher L. Morrison, Roberto G. Pousa, Francesco Graffitti +8
Quantum key distribution with solid-state single-photon emitters is gaining traction due to their rapidly improving performance and compatibility with future quantum network archit…
Conference key agreement in a quantum network
Alexander Pickston, Joseph Ho, Andrés Ulibarrena +6
Quantum conference key agreement (QCKA) allows multiple users to establish a secure key from a shared multi-partite entangled state. In a quantum network, this protocol can be effi…
Experimental demonstration of optimal unambiguous two-out-of-four quantum state elimination
Jonathan W. Webb, Ittoop V. Puthoor, Joseph Ho +4
A core principle of quantum theory is that non-orthogonal quantum states cannot be perfectly distinguished with single-shot measurements. However, it is possible to exclude a subse…
Frequency-bin entanglement from domain-engineered down-conversion
Christopher L. Morrison, Francesco Graffitti, Peter Barrow +3
Frequency encoding is quickly becoming an attractive prospect for quantum information protocols owing to larger Hilbert spaces and increased resilience to noise compared to other p…
