Machine Learning for Metasurfaces Design and Their Applications
Kumar Vijay Mishra, Ahmet M. Elbir, Amir I. Zaghloul
Metasurfaces (MTSs) are increasingly emerging as enabling technologies to meet the demands for multi-functional, small form-factor, efficient, reconfigurable, tunable, and low-cost…
Reconfigurable-Metasurface-Aided Multi-State Generalized Polarization-Space Modulation for Next-Generation Wireless Communications
John A. Hodge, Kumar Vijay Mishra, Quang M. Nguyen +1
We propose a low-cost reconfigurable metasurface transmitter to implement generalized polarization-space modulation (GPSM) that has been proposed for next-generation wireless commu…
Deep Inverse Design of Reconfigurable Metasurfaces for Future Communications
John A. Hodge, Kumar Vijay Mishra, Amir I. Zaghloul
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) have recently received significant attention as building blocks for smart radio environments and adaptable wireless channels. By altering…
Intelligent Time-Varying Metasurface Transceiver for Index Modulation in 6G Wireless Networks
John A. Hodge, Kumar Vijay Mishra, Amir I. Zaghloul
Index modulation (IM) is one of the candidate technologies for the upcoming sixth generation (6G) wireless communications networks. In this paper, we propose a space-time-modulated…
