Two-photon imaging through a multimode fiber
Edgar E. Morales-Delgado, Demetri Psaltis, Christophe Moser
In this work we demonstrate 3D imaging using two-photon excitation through a 20 cm long multimode optical fiber (MMF) of 350 micrometers diameter. The imaging principle is similar…
Confocal microscopy through a multimode fiber using optical correlation
Damien Loterie, Sebastianus A. Goorden, Demetri Psaltis +1
We report on a method to obtain confocal imaging through multimode fibers using optical correlation. First, we measure the fiber's transmission matrix in a calibration step. This a…
Optical-resolution photoacoustic imaging through thick tissue with a thin capillary as a dual optical-in acoustic-out waveguide
Olivier Simandoux, Nicolino Stasio, Jerome Gateau +4
We demonstrate the ability to guide high-frequency photoacoustic waves through thick tissue with a water-filled silica-capillary (150 μm inner diameter and 30 mm long). An optical-…
Digital confocal microscopy through a multimode fiber
Damien Loterie, Salma Farahi, Ioannis Papadopoulos +3
Acquiring high-contrast optical images deep inside biological tissues is still a challenging problem. Confocal microscopy is an important tool for biomedical imaging since it impro…
