New readout and data-acquisition system in an electron-tracking Compton camera for MeV gamma-ray astronomy (SMILE-II)
Tetsuya Mizumoto, Yoshihiro Matsuoka, Yoshitaka Mizumura +17
For MeV gamma-ray astronomy, we have developed an electron-tracking Compton camera (ETCC) as a MeV gamma-ray telescope capable of rejecting the radiation background and attaining t…
A performance study of an electron-tracking Compton camera with a compact system for environmental gamma-ray observation
Tetsuya Mizumoto, Dai Tomono, Atsushi Takada +12
An electron-tracking Compton camera (ETCC) is a detector that can determine the arrival direction and energy of incident sub-MeV/MeV gamma-ray events on an event-by-event basis. It…
An Electron-Tracking Compton Telescope for a Survey of the Deep Universe by MeV gamma-rays
T. Tanimori, H. Kubo, A. Takada +17
Photon imaging for MeV gammas has serious difficulties due to huge backgrounds and unclearness in images, which are originated from incompleteness in determining the physical param…
Performance of a new electron-tracking Compton camera under intense radiations from a water target irradiated with a proton beam
Yoshihiro Matsuoka, T. Tanimori, H. Kubo +16
We have developed an electron-tracking Compton camera (ETCC) for use in next-generation MeV gamma ray telescopes. An ETCC consists of a gaseous time projection chamber (TPC) and pi…
