Realizing ICN in 3GPP's 5G NextGen Core Architecture
Ravishankar Ravindran, Asit Chakraborti, Syed Obaid Amin +2
The proposed 3GPP's 5G Next-generation (NextGen) Core architecture (5GC) enables the ability to introduce new user and control plane functions within the context of network slicing…
ICN-aware Network Slicing Framework for Mobile Data Distribution
Asit Chakraborti, Syed Obaid Amin, Aytac Azgin +2
Network slicing offers an opportunity to realize ICN as a slice in 5G deployment. We demonstrate this through a generic service orchestration framework operating on commodity compu…
SRMCA: A Scalable and Resilient Real-time Multi-party Communication Architecture
Asit Chakraborti, Syed Obaid Amin, Aytac Azgin +2
This paper proposes a scalable and resilient real-time multi-party communication architecture for the delivery of mixed media streams, for which content centric networking, with it…
5G-ICN : Delivering ICN Services over 5G using Network Slicing
Ravishankar Ravindran, Asit Chakraborti, Syed Obaid Amin +2
The challenging requirements of 5G--from both the applications and the architecture perspectives--motivate the need to explore the feasibility of delivering services over new netwo…
A Scalable Mobility-Centric Architecture for Named Data Networking
Aytac Azgin, Ravishankar Ravindran, Guoqiang Wang
Information-centric networking (ICN) proposes to redesign the Internet by replacing its host centric design with an information centric one, by establishing communication at the na…
Mobility Study for Named Data Networking in Wireless Access Networks
Aytac Azgin, Ravishankar Ravindran, Guoqiang Wang
Information centric networking (ICN) proposes to redesign the Internet by replacing its host-centric design with information-centric design. Communication among entities is establi…
