A Planet Candidate in the Stellar Triple System HD178911
S. Zucker, D. Naef, D. W. Latham +9
We report the detection of a low-mass companion orbiting the solar-type star HD178911B, the distant component of the stellar triple system HD178911. The variability of HD178911B wa…
No planet for HD 166435
D. Queloz, G. W. Henry, J. P. Sivan +6
The G0V star HD166435 has been observed by the fiber-fed spectrograph ELODIE as one of the targets in the large extra-solar planet survey that we are conducting at the Observatory…
The CORALIE survey for southern extrasolar planets V: 3 new extrasolar planets
D. Naef, M. Mayor, F. Pepe +4
We report the detection of 3 new planetary companions orbiting the solar-type stars GJ 3021, HD 52265 and HD 169830 using radial-velocity measurements taken with the CORALIE echell…
HD 80606 b, a planet on an extremely elongated orbit
D. Naef, D. W. Latham, M. Mayor +9
We report the detection of a planetary companion orbiting the solar-type star HD 80606, the brighter component of a wide binary with a projected separation of about 2000 AU. Using…
Bisector analysis as a diagnostic of intrinsic radial-velocity variations
N. C. Santos, M. Mayor, D. Naef +2
In this contribution we present the results of the application of the bisector of the cross-correlation function as a diagnostic of activity-related radial-velocity variations. The…
