The Free Electron Maser in Pulsar Magnetospheres
R. Schopper, H. Ruhl, T. A. Kunzl +1
We present the numerical simulations of coherent inverse Compton scattering (CICS) in a highly magnetized plasma process by means of a full three dimensional particle in cell code…
New Limits on Gravitational Radiation using Pulsars
A. N. Lommen
We calculate a new gravitational wave background limit using timing residuals from PSRs J1713+0747, B1855+09, and B1937+21. The new limit is based on 17 years of continuous data pi…
A current circuit model of pulsar radio emission
Th. Kunzl, H. Lesch, A. Jessner
We present the outline of a new model for the coherent radio emission of pulsars that succeeds in reproducing the energetics and brightness temperatures of the observed radio emiss…
Emission Mechanisms in High Energy Pulsars: From Gamma Rays to Infrared
A. R. Crusius-Waetzel, H. Lesch
We present a model for the gamma-ray emission of pulsars in terms of curvature radiation by highly relativistic particles. It is shown that the injection of power-law primary parti…
Natural Limits for Currents in Charge Separated Pulsar Magnetospheres
A. Jessner, H. Lesch, T. Kunzl
Rough estimates and upper limits on current and particle densities form the basis of most of the canonical pulsar models. Whereas the surface of the rotating neutron star is capabl…
