Observations of High-Redshift X-Ray Selected Clusters with the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Array
Stephen Muchovej, John E. Carlstrom, John Cartwright +14
We report measurements of the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) effect in three high-redshift (0.89 < z < 1.03), X-ray selected galaxy clusters. The observations were obtained at 30 GHz duri…
Radio Sources Toward Galaxy Clusters at 30 GHz
K. Coble, M. Bonamente, J. E. Carlstrom +7
Extra-galactic radio sources are a significant contaminant in cosmic microwave background and Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect experiments. Deep interferometric observations with the BIMA…
X-ray and Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Effect Measurements of the Gas Mass Fraction in Galaxy Clusters
S. LaRoque, M. Bonamente, J. Carlstrom +4
We present gas mass fractions of 38 massive galaxy clusters spanning redshifts from 0.14 to 0.89, derived from Chandra X-ray data and OVRO/BIMA interferometric Sunyaev-Zel'dovich E…
Final Results from the BIMA CMB Anisotropy Survey and Search for Signature of the SZ effect
K. S. Dawson, W. L. Holzapfel, J. E. Carlstrom +2
We report the final results of our study of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) with the BIMA array. Over 1000 hours of observation were dedicated to this project exploring CMB a…
