Quantum Hall states of atomic Bose gases: density profiles in single-layer and multi-layer geometries
N. R. Cooper, F. J. M. van Lankvelt, J. W. Reijnders +1
We describe the density profiles of confined atomic Bose gases in the high-rotation limit, in single-layer and multi-layer geometries. We show that, in a local density approximatio…
Density profiles for atomic quantum Hall states
N. R. Cooper, F. J. M. van Lankvelt, J. W. Reijnders +1
We analyze density profiles for atomic quantum Hall states, which are expected to form in systems of rotating cold atoms in the high-rotation limit. For a two-dimensional (single-l…
Rotating spin-1 bosons in the lowest Landau level
J. W. Reijnders, F. J. M van Lankvelt, K. Schoutens +1
We present results for the ground states of a system of spin-1 bosons in a rotating trap. We focus on the dilute, weakly interacting regime, and restrict the bosons to the quantum…
Quantum Hall states and boson triplet condensate for rotating spin-1 bosons
J. W. Reijnders, F. J. M. van Lankvelt, K. Schoutens +1
We propose and analyze two series of clustered quantum Hall states for rotating systems of spin-1 bosons. The first series (labelled SU(4)_k) includes the exact ground states of a…
