Density modulo 1 of sublacunary sequences: application of Peres-Schlag's arguments
Nikolai G. Moshchevitin
Let the sequence of reals satisfy the condition Then the set $ \{α\in [0,1]: \exists \varkappa >…
A version of the proof for Peres-Schlag's theorem on lacunary sequences
Nikolai G. Moshchevitin
We present a proof of a multidimensional version of Peres-Schlag's theorem on Diophantine approximations with lacunary sequences.
On the derivative of the Minkowski question mark function
Anna A. Dushistova, Nikolai G. Moshchevitin
Let be the decomposition of the irrational number into regular continued fraction. Then for the derivative of the Minkowski function we…
Moments for generalized Farey-Brocot partitions
Nikolai Moshchevitin, Michael Vielhaber
We generalize the Farey-Brocot partition to a twodimensional continued fraction algorithm and generalized Farey-Brocot nets. We give an asymptotic formula for the moments of order…
On an Improvement of a Result by Niederreiter and Wang Concerning the Expected Linear Complexity of Multisequences
Nikolai Moshchevitin, Michael Vielhaber
We show that the expected value for the linear complexity of -multisequences of length is E_n^{(m)} = n m/(m+1) + O(1).
