Cosmological Magnetogenesis driven by Radiation Pressure
Mathieu Langer, Jean-Loup Puget, Nabila Aghanim
The origin of large scale cosmological magnetic fields remains a mystery, despite the continuous efforts devoted to that problem. We present a new model of magnetic field generatio…
Extraction of cluster parameters with future Sunyaev-Zel'dovich observations
Nabila Aghanim, Steen H. Hansen, Sergio Pastor +1
The Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) effect of galaxy clusters is characterized by three parameters: Compton parameter, electron temperature and cluster peculiar velocity. In the present st…
XMM-Newton observation of the distant (z=0.6) galaxy cluster RX J1120.1+4318
M. Arnaud, S. Majerowicz, D. Lumb +12
We report on a 20 ksec XMM observation of the distant cluster RXJ1120.1+4318, discovered at z=0.6 in the SHARC survey. The cluster has a regular spherical morphology, suggesting it…
Cosmic Microwave Background anisotropies beyond the third peak
N. Aghanim, P. G. Castro, A. Melchiorri +1
Forthcoming CMB experiments will allow us to accurately investigate the power spectrum at very small scales (). We predict the level of the primary anisotropies, given…
