Bayesian Solar Wind Modeling with Pulsar Timing Arrays
Jeffrey S. Hazboun, Joseph Simon, Dustin R. Madison +27
Using Bayesian analyses we study the solar electron density with the NANOGrav 11-year pulsar timing array (PTA) dataset. Our model of the solar wind is incorporated into a global f…
The NANOGrav 12.5-year data set: Search for Non-Einsteinian Polarization Modes in theGravitational-Wave Background
Zaven Arzoumanian, Paul T. Baker, Harsha Blumer +68
We search NANOGrav's 12.5-year data set for evidence of a gravitational wave background (GWB) with all the spatial correlations allowed by general metric theories of gravity. We fi…
Searching For Gravitational Waves From Cosmological Phase Transitions With The NANOGrav 12.5-year dataset
Zaven Arzoumanian, Paul T. Baker, Harsha Blumer +62
We search for a first-order phase transition gravitational wave signal in 45 pulsars from the NANOGrav 12.5 year dataset. We find that the data can be modeled in terms of a strong…
The NANOGrav 11yr Data Set: Limits on Supermassive Black Hole Binaries in Galaxies within 500Mpc
Zaven Arzoumanian, Paul T. Baker, Adam Brazier +54
Supermassive black hole binaries (SMBHBs) should form frequently in galactic nuclei as a result of galaxy mergers. At sub-parsec separations, binaries become strong sources of low-…
