Description and stability of a RPC-based calorimeter in electromagnetic and hadronic shower environments
D. Boumediene, V. Francais, J. Apostolakis +36
The CALICE Semi-Digital Hadron Calorimeter technological prototype completed in 2011 is a sampling calorimeter using Glass Resistive Plate Chamber (GRPC) detectors as the active me…
APRIL : a novel Algorithm for Particle Reconstruction at ILC
B. Li, R. Été, G. Grenier +1
The current developments for future electron-positron colliders are driven by the Particle Flow concept. In these developments, high granularity calorimeters play a central role. T…
First results of the CALICE SDHCAL technological prototype
V. Buridon, C. Combaret, L. Caponetto +118
The CALICE Semi-Digital Hadronic Calorimeter (SDHCAL) prototype, built in 2011, was exposed to beams of hadrons, electrons and muons in two short periods in 2012 on two different b…
Pion and proton showers in the CALICE scintillator-steel analogue hadron calorimeter
The CALICE Collaboration, B. Bilki, J. Repond +169
Showers produced by positive hadrons in the highly granular CALICE scintillator-steel analogue hadron calorimeter were studied. The experimental data were collected at CERN and FNA…
