Predictability-Aware Motion Prediction for Edge XR via High-Order Error-State Kalman Filtering
Ziyu Zhong, Björn Landfeldt, Günter Alce +1
As 6G networks are developed and defined, offloading of XR applications is emerging as one of the strong new use cases. The reduced 6G latency coupled with edge processing infrastr…
Approaching Optimal Centralized Scheduling with CSMA-based Random Access over Fading Channels
Mehmet Karaca, Bjorn Landfeldt
Carrier Sense Multiple Access (CSMA) based distributed algorithms can attain the largest capacity region as the centralized Max-Weight policy does. Despite their capability of achi…
Resource Management for OFDMA based Next Generation 802.11ax WLANs
Mehmet Karaca, Saeed Bastani, Basuki Endah Priyanto +2
Recently, IEEE 802.11ax Task Group has adapted OFDMA as a new technique for enabling multi-user transmission. It has been also decided that the scheduling duration should be same f…
Load-aware Channel Selection for 802.11 WLANs with Limited Measurement
Mehmet Karaca, Bjorn Landfeldt
It has been known that load unaware channel selection in 802.11 networks results in high level interference, and can significantly reduce the network throughput. In current impleme…
