Physical and orbital properties of Beta Pictoris b
M. Bonnefoy, G. -D. Marleau, R. Galicher +13
The intermediate-mass star Beta Pictoris is known to be surrounded by a structured edge-on debris disk within which a gas giant planet was discovered orbiting at 8-10 AU. The physi…
Search for cool giant exoplanets around young and nearby stars - VLT/NaCo near-infrared phase-coronagraphic and differential imaging
A. -L. Maire, A. Boccaletti, J. Rameau +8
[Abridged] Context. Spectral differential imaging (SDI) is part of the observing strategy of current and future high-contrast imaging instruments. It aims to reduce the stellar spe…
Near-Infrared Detection and Characterization of the Exoplanet HD 95086 b with the Gemini Planet Imager
Raphael Galicher, Julien Rameau, Mickael Bonnefoy +6
HD 95086 is an intermediate-mass debris-disk-bearing star. VLT/NaCo observations revealed it hosts a companion (HD 95086 b) at AU. Fol…
Search for cool extrasolar giant planets combining coronagraphy, spectral and angular differential imaging
A. -L. Maire, A. Boccaletti, J. Rameau +8
Spectral differential imaging (SDI) is part of the observing strategy of current and on-going high-contrast imaging instruments on ground-based telescopes. Although it improves the…
