Efficient Arbitrary Simultaneously Entangling Gates on a trapped-ion quantum computer
Nikodem Grzesiak, Reinhold Blümel, Kristin Beck +7
Efficiently entangling pairs of qubits is essential to fully harness the power of quantum computing. Here, we devise an exact protocol that simultaneously entangles arbitrary pairs…
Power-optimal, stabilized entangling gate between trapped-ion qubits
Reinhold Blumel, Nikodem Grzesiak, Neal Pisenti +2
To achieve scalable quantum computing, improving entangling-gate fidelity and its implementation-efficiency are of utmost importance. We present here a linear method to construct p…
Benchmarking an 11-qubit quantum computer
K. Wright, K. M. Beck, S. Debnath +21
The field of quantum computing has grown from concept to demonstration devices over the past 20 years. Universal quantum computing offers efficiency in approaching problems of scie…
Ground-state energy estimation of the water molecule on a trapped ion quantum computer
Yunseong Nam, Jwo-Sy Chen, Neal C. Pisenti +23
Quantum computing leverages the quantum resources of superposition and entanglement to efficiently solve computational problems considered intractable for classical computers. Exam…
