Experimental Verification of an Indefinite Causal Order
Giulia Rubino, Lee A. Rozema, Adrien Feix +5
Investigating the role of causal order in quantum mechanics has recently revealed that the causal distribution of events may not be a-priori well-defined in quantum theory. While t…
Comment on Adler's "Does the Peres experiment using photons test for hyper-complex (quaternionic) quantum theories?"
Lorenzo M. Procopio, Lee A. Rozema, Borivoje Dakić +1
In his recent article [arXiv:1604.04950], Adler questions the usefulness of the bound found in our experimental search for genuine effects of hyper-complex quantum mechanics [arXiv…
On the geometry of spatial biphoton correlation in spontaneous parametric down-conversion
Lorenzo M. Procopio, Oscar Rosas-Ortiz, Victor Velazquez
Analytical expressions are derived for the distribution rates of spatial coincidences in the counting of photons produced by spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC). Gaussian…
Experimental Test of Hyper-Complex Quantum Theories
Lorenzo M. Procopio, Lee A. Rozema, Zi Jing Wong +5
In standard quantum mechanics, complex numbers are used to describe the wavefunction. Although complex numbers have proven sufficient to predict the results of existing experiments…
