A Hybrid RF-VLC System for Energy Efficient Wireless Access
Abdallah Khreishah, Sihua Shao, Ammar Gharaibeh +3
In this paper, we propose a new paradigm in designing and realizing energy efficient wireless indoor access networks, namely, a hybrid system enabled by traditional RF access, such…
Joint Caching, Routing, and Channel Assignment for Collaborative Small-Cell Cellular Networks
Abdallah Khreishah, Jacob Chakareski, Ammar Gharaibeh
We consider joint caching, routing, and channel assignment for video delivery over coordinated small-cell cellular systems of the future Internet. We formulate the problem of maxim…
A provably efficient online collaborative caching algorithm for multicell-coordinated systems
Ammar Gharaibeh, Abdallah Khreishah, Bo Ji +1
Caching at the base stations brings the contents closer to the users, reduces the traffic through the backhaul links, and reduces the delay experienced by the cellular users. The c…
Asymptotically-Optimal Incentive-Based En-Route Caching Scheme
Ammar Gharaibeh, Abdallah Khreishah, Issa Khalil +1
Content caching at intermediate nodes is a very effective way to optimize the operations of Computer networks, so that future requests can be served without going back to the origi…
