High-energy cosmic neutrinos as a probe of the vector mediator scenario in light of the muon anomaly and Hubble tension
Jose Alonso Carpio, Kohta Murase, Ian M. Shoemaker +1
In light of the recent Muon experiment data from Fermilab, we investigate the implications of a gauged model for high energy neutrino telescopes. It has been sugg…
Phenomenology of the Sterile Neutrinos
Zahra Tabrizi
In this thesis we investigate several topics in neutrino physics, with an em- phasis on the phenomenology of the sterile neutrinos. We study the existence of a light sterile neutri…
Large, Extra Dimensions at the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment
Jeffrey M. Berryman, André de Gouvêa, Kevin J. Kelly +2
We investigate the potential of the long-baseline Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) to study large-extra-dimension (LED) models originally proposed to explain the smallne…
Hidden Interactions of Sterile Neutrinos As a Probe For New Physics
Zahra Tabrizi, O. L. G. Peres
Recent results from neutrino experiments show evidence for light sterile neutrinos which do not have any Standard Model interactions. In this work we study the hidden interaction o…
Probing Large Extra Dimensions With IceCube
Arman Esmaili, O. L. G. Peres, Zahra Tabrizi
In models with Large Extra Dimensions the smallness of neutrino masses can be naturally explained by introducing gauge singlet fermions which propagate in the bulk. The Kaluza-Klei…
Probing light sterile neutrinos in medium baseline reactor experiments
Arman Esmaili, Ernesto Kemp, O. L. G. Peres +1
Medium baseline reactor experiments (Double Chooz, Daya Bay and RENO) provide a unique opportunity to test the presence of light sterile neutrinos. We analyze the data of these exp…
