NIKA2 Performance and Cosmology Program with Galaxy Clusters
L. Perotto, R. Adam, P. Ade +38
NIKA2 is a dual-band millimetric camera of thousands of Kinetic Inductance Detectors (KID) installed at the IRAM 30-meter telescope in the Spanish Sierra Nevada. The instrument com…
Absolute calibration of the polarisation angle for future CMB -mode experiments from current and future measurements of the Crab nebula
Jonathan Aumont, Juan Francisco Macías-Pérez, Alessia Ritacco +2
A tremendous international effort is currently dedicated to observing the so-called -modes of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) polarisation. At the unprecedented sensitivit…
NIKA 150 GHz polarization observations of the Crab nebula and its spectral energy distribution
A. Ritacco, J. F. Macías Pérez, N. Ponthieu +45
The Crab nebula is a supernova remnant exhibiting a highly polarized synchrotron radiation at radio and millimeter wavelengths. It is the brightest source in the microwave sky with…
A NIKA view of two star-forming infrared dark clouds: Dust emissivity variations and mass concentration
A. J. Rigby, N. Peretto, R. Adam +39
The thermal emission of dust grains is a powerful tool for probing cold, dense regions of molecular gas in the ISM, and so constraining dust properties is key to obtaining accurate…
