Performance of the Gas Gain Monitoring system of the CMS RPC muon detector and effective working point fine tuning
S. Colafranceschi, L. Benussi, S. Bianco +25
The Gas Gain Monitoring (GGM) system of the Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) muon detector in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment provides fast and accurate determination of th…
Uniformity and Stability of the CMS RPC Detector at the LHC
S. Costantini, K. Beernaert, A. Cimmino +60
The Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs) are employed in the CMS experiment at the LHC as dedicated trigger system both in the barrel and in the endcap. This note presents results of th…
The Upgrade of the CMS RPC System during the First LHC Long Shutdown
M. Tytgat, A. Marinov, P. Verwilligen +31
The CMS muon system includes in both the barrel and endcap region Resistive Plate Chambers (RPC). They mainly serve as trigger detectors and also improve the reconstruction of muon…
