Bayesian Approach to Particles Identification in the MPD Experimen
V. A. Babkin, V. M. Baryshnikov, M. G. Buryakov +12
Identification of particles generated by ion collisions in the NICA collider is one of the basic functions of the Multipurpose Detector (MPD). The main means of identification in M…
Status and initial physics performance studies of the MPD experiment at NICA
MPD Collaboration, V. Abgaryan, R. Acevedo Kado +470
The Nuclotron-base Ion Collider fAcility (NICA) is under construction at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), with commissioning of the facility expected in late 2022.…
Unperturbed inverse kinematics nucleon knockout measurements with a 48 GeV/c carbon beam
M. Patsyuk, J. Kahlbow, G. Laskaris +166
From superconductors to atomic nuclei, strongly-interacting many-body systems are ubiquitous in nature. Measuring the microscopic structure of such systems is a formidable challeng…
Development of the MRPC for the TOF system of the MultiPurpose Detector
V. A. Babkin, S. N. Bazylev, I. S. Burdenyuk +12
The Multipurpose Detector (MPD) \cite{cite1.MPD_CDR} is designed to study of hot and dense baryonic matter in collisions of heavy ions over the atomic mass range 1--197 at the cent…
