Near-Capacity Adaptive Analog Fountain Codes for Wireless Channels
Mahyar Shirvanimoghaddam, Yonghui Li, Branka Vucetic
In this paper, we propose a capacity-approaching analog fountain code (AFC) for wireless channels. In AFC, the number of generated coded symbols is potentially limitless. In contra…
Distributed Raptor Coding for Erasure Channels: Partially and Fully Coded Cooperation
Mahyar Shirvanimoghaddam, Yonghui Li, Shuang Tian +1
In this paper, we propose a new rateless coded cooperation scheme for a general multi-user cooperative wireless system. We develop cooperation methods based on Raptor codes with th…
A Physical-layer Rateless Code for Wireless Channels
Shuang Tian, Yonghui Li, Mahyar Shirvanimoghaddam +1
In this paper, we propose a physical-layer rateless code for wireless channels. A novel rateless encoding scheme is developed to overcome the high error floor problem caused by the…
Autonomous Demand Side Management Based on Energy Consumption Scheduling and Instantaneous Load Billing: An Aggregative Game Approach
He Chen, Yonghui Li, Raymond H. Y. Louie +1
In this paper, we investigate a practical demand side management scenario where the selfish consumers compete to minimize their individual energy cost through scheduling their futu…
