Transmission of Photonic Polarization States through 55-meter Water: Towards Air-to-sea Quantum Communication
Cheng-Qiu Hu, Zeng-Quan Yan, Jun Gao +9
Quantum communication has been rapidly developed due to its unconditional security and successfully implemented through optical fibers and free-space air in experiment. To build a…
Parity-Induced Thermalization Gap in Disordered Ring Lattices
Yao Wang, Jun Gao, Xiao-Ling Pang +8
The gaps separating two different states widely exist in various physical systems: from the electrons in periodic lattices to the analogs in photonic, phononic, plasmonic systems,…
A Hybrid Quantum Memory Enabled Network at Room Temperature
Xiao-Ling Pang, Ai-Lin Yang, Jian-Peng Dou +8
Quantum memory capable of storage and retrieval of flying photons on demand is crucial for developing quantum information technologies. However, the devices needed for long-distanc…
Direct Observation of Broadband Nonclassical States in a Room-temperature Light-matter Interface
Jian-Peng Dou, Ai-Lin Yang, Mu-Yan Du +7
Nonclassical state is an essential resource for quantum-enhanced communication, computing and metrology to outperform their classical counterpart. The nonclassical states that can…
