Plasma density profile reconstruction of a gas cell for Ionization Induced Laser Wakefield Acceleration
F. Filippi, L. T. Dickson, M. Backhouse +15
Laser-driven plasma wakefields can provide hundreds of MeV electron beam in mm-range distances potentially shrinking the dimension of the actual particle accelerators. The plasma d…
Dark matter search in a Beam-Dump eXperiment (BDX) at Jefferson Lab -- 2018 update to PR12-16-001
M. Battaglieri, A. Bersani, G. Bracco +122
This document complements and completes what was submitted last year to PAC45 as an update to the proposal PR12-16-001 "Dark matter search in a Beam-Dump eXperiment (BDX)" at Jeffe…
Influence of reflector materials and core coolant on the characteristics of accelerator driven systems
Fabio Panza, Michail Osipenko, Giovanni Ricco +2
In this paper we simulated the behavior of a simple ADS model, based on MOX fuel embedded in solid lead, in terms of multiplication coefficient keff, thermal power and absolute neu…
Dark matter search in a Beam-Dump eXperiment (BDX) at Jefferson Lab
M. Battaglieri, A. Bersani, B. Caiffi +101
MeV-GeV dark matter (DM) is theoretically well motivated but remarkably unexplored. This proposal presents the MeV-GeV DM discovery potential for a 1 m segmented CsI(Tl)…
