Functions that preserve totally bounded sets vis-á-vis stronger notions of continuity
Lipsy Gupta, S. Kundu
A function between two metric spaces is said to be totally bounded regular if it preserves totally bounded sets. These functions need not be continuous in general. Hence the purpos…
More about cofinally complete metric spaces
Lipsy, Manisha Aggarwal, S. Kundu
Metric spaces satisfying properties stronger than completeness and weaker than compactness have been studied by many authors over the years. One such significant family is that of…
Completeness Properties of the open-point and bi-point-open topologies on C(X)
Anubha Jindal, R. A. McCoy, S. Kundu +1
This paper studies various completeness properties of the open-point and bi-point-open topologies on the space C(X) of all real-valued continuous functions on a Tychonoff space X.…
The Bi-Compact-Open Topology on C(X)
Anubha Jindal, R. A. McCoy, S. Kundu
For the set C(X) of real-valued continuous functions on a Tychonoff space X, the compact-open topology on C(X) is a "set-open topology". This paper studies the separation and count…
Redimensioning of Euclidean Spaces
Piyush Ahuja, Subiman Kundu
A vector space over a field is a set together with two binary operations, called vector addition and scalar multiplication. It is standard practice to think of a E…
