Spatial Motifs for Device-to-Device Network Analysis in Cellular Networks
Tengchan Zeng, Omid Semiari, Walid Saad +1
Device-to-device (D2D) communication is a promising approach to efficiently disseminate critical or viral information. Reaping the benefits of D2D-enabled networks is contingent up…
Spatio-Temporal Motifs for Optimized Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Communications
Tengchan Zeng, Omid Semiari, Walid Saad
Caching popular contents in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication networks is expected to play an important role in road traffic management, the realization of intelligent transpo…
Mobility Management for Heterogeneous Networks: Leveraging Millimeter Wave for Seamless Handover
Omid Semiari, Walid Saad, Mehdi Bennis +1
One of the most promising approaches to overcome the uncertainty and dynamic channel variations of millimeter wave (mmW) communications is to deploy dual-mode base stations that in…
Performance Analysis of Integrated Sub-6 GHz-Millimeter Wave Wireless Local Area Networks
Omid Semiari, Walid Saad, Mehdi Bennis +1
Millimeter wave (mmW) communications at the 60 GHz unlicensed band is seen as a promising approach for boosting the capacity of wireless local area networks (WLANs). If properly in…
