Minkowski dimension and slow-fast polynomial Liénard equations near infinity
Peter De Maesschalck, Renato Huzak, Ansfried Janssens +1
In planar slow-fast systems, fractal analysis of (bounded) sequences in has proved important for detection of the first non-zero Lyapunov quantity in singular Hopf bifu…
Fractal codimension of nilpotent contact points in two-dimensional slow-fast systems
Peter De Maesschalck, Renato Huzak, Ansfried Janssens +1
In this paper we introduce the notion of fractal codimension of a nilpotent contact point , for , in smooth planar slowfast systems when the contact order $n…
Reading analytic invariants of parabolic diffeomorphisms from their orbits
Martin Klimes, Pavao Mardesic, Goran Radunovic +1
In this paper we study germs of diffeomorphisms in the complex plane. We address the following problem: How to read a diffeomorphism knowing one of its orbits ? We…
Fractal analysis of Hopf bifurcation at infinity
Goran Radunović, Vesna Županović, Darko Žubrinić
Using geometric inversion with respect to the origin we extend the definition of box dimension to the case of unbounded subsets of Euclidean spaces. Alternative but equivalent defi…
