Near soliton evolution for -equivariant Schrödinger Maps in two space dimensions
Ioan Bejenaru, Mohandas Pillai, Daniel Tataru
We consider equivariant solutions for the Schrödinger Map equation in dimensions, with values into . Within each equivariance class this admi…
Global, Non-scattering solutions to the quintic, focusing semilinear wave equation on
Mohandas Pillai
We consider the quintic, focusing semilinear wave equation on , in the radially symmetric setting, and construct infinite time blow-up, relaxation, and intermedia…
Global, Non-scattering solutions to the energy critical wave maps equation
Mohandas Pillai
We consider the 1-equivariant energy critical wave maps problem with two-sphere target. Using a method based on matched asymptotic expansions, we construct infinite time relaxation…
Global, Non-Scattering Solutions to the Energy Critical Yang-Mills Problem
Mohandas Pillai
We consider the Yang-Mills problem on with gauge group . In an appropriate equivariant reduction, this Yang-Mills problem reduces to a single scalar semil…
Infinite time blow-up solutions to the energy critical wave maps equation
Mohandas Pillai
We consider the wave maps problem with domain and target in the 1-equivariant, topological degree one setting. In this setting, we recall that t…
