Time-resolved imaging with OKE-based time-gate: enhancement in spatial resolution using low-coherence ultra-short illumination
Harsh Purwar, Saïd Idlahcen, Claude Rozé +1
We propose a collinear optical Kerr effect (OKE) based time-gate configuration with low coherence illumination source, derived from the supercontinuum (SC) generated by focusing th…
Quantitative comparison of fuel spray images obtained using ultrafast coherent and incoherent double-pulsed illumination
Harsh Purwar, Kamel Lounnaci, Saïd Idlahcen +3
We present a quantitative comparison between the high-pressure fuel spray images obtained experimentally using classical imaging with coherent and incoherent ultrafast illumination…
Collinear two colour Kerr effect based time-gate for ballistic imaging
Harsh Purwar, Saïd Idlahcen, Claude Rozé +1
A novel setup is presented for ballistic imaging using an efficient ultrafast Kerr effect based optical time-gate with gating times of the order of ~0.8 picoseconds. At first, the…
Ballistic Imaging of High-Pressure Fuel Sprays using Incoherent, Ultra- short Pulsed Illumination with an Ultrafast OKE-based Time Gating
Harsh Purwar, Saïd Idlahcen, Claude Rozé +1
We present an optical Kerr effect based time-gate with the collinear incidence of the pump and probe beams at the Kerr medium, liquid carbon disulfide, for ballistic imaging of the…
