Design and RF measurements of a 5 GHz 500 kW window for the ITER LHCD system
Julien Hillairet, J. Achard, N. Dechambre +13
CEA/IRFM is conducting R\&D efforts in order to validate the critical RF components of the 5 GHz ITER LHCD system, which is expected to transmit 20 MW of RF power to the plasma. Tw…
Lower Hybrid antennas for nuclear fusion experiments
Julien Hillairet, J. Achard, Young-Soon Bae +40
The nuclear fusion research goal is to demonstrate the feasibility of fusion power for peaceful purposes. In order to achieve the conditions similar to those expected in an electri…
Design and Tests of 500kW RF Windows for the ITER LHCD System
Julien Hillairet, J Kim, N Faure +10
In the frame of a R\&D effort conducted by CEA toward the design and the qualification of a 5 GHz LHCD system for the ITER tokamak, two 5 GHz 500 kW/5 s windows have been designed,…
A coherent polarimeter array for the Large Scale Polarization Explorer balloon experiment
M. Bersanelli, A. Mennella, G. Morgante +43
We discuss the design and expected performance of STRIP (STRatospheric Italian Polarimeter), an array of coherent receivers designed to fly on board the LSPE (Large Scale Polarizat…
