The Next Generation BLAST Experiment
Nicholas Galitzki, Peter A. R. Ade, Francesco E. Angilè +38
The Balloon-borne Large Aperture Submillimeter Telescope for Polarimetry (BLASTPol) was a suborbital experiment designed to map magnetic fields in order to study their role in star…
The next-generation BLASTPol experiment
Bradley Dober, Peter A. R. Ade, Peter Ashton +36
The Balloon-borne Large Aperture Submillimeter Telescope for Polarimetry (BLASTPol) is a suborbital mapping experiment designed to study the role magnetic fields play in star forma…
Horn-Coupled, Commercially-Fabricated Aluminum Lumped-Element Kinetic Inductance Detectors for Millimeter Wavelengths
H. McCarrick, D. Flanigan, G. Jones +16
We discuss the design, fabrication, and testing of prototype horn-coupled, lumped-element kinetic inductance detectors (LEKIDs) designed for cosmic microwave background (CMB) studi…
A LEKID-based CMB instrument design for large-scale observations in Greenland
D. C. Araujo, P. A. R. Ade, J. R. Bond +22
We present the results of a feasibility study, which examined deployment of a ground-based millimeter-wave polarimeter, tailored for observing the cosmic microwave background (CMB)…
