First demonstration of gamma-ray imaging using balloon-borne emulsion telescope
Hiroki Rokujo, Shigeki Aoki, Kaname Hamada +30
We promote the precise gamma-ray observation project Gamma-Ray Astro-Imager with Nuclear Emulsion (GRAINE), which uses balloon-borne emulsion gamma-ray telescopes. The emulsion tel…
First demonstration of emulsion multi-stage shifter for accelerator neutrino experiment in J-PARC T60
K. Yamada, S. Aoki, S. Cao +47
We describe the first ever implementation of an emulsion multi-stage shifter in an accelerator neutrino experiment. The system was installed in the neutrino monitor building in J-P…
First neutrino event detection with nuclear emulsion at J-PARC neutrino beamline
T. Fukuda, S. Aoki, S. Cao +47
Precise neutrino--nucleus interaction measurements in the sub-multi GeV region are important to reduce the systematic uncertainty in future neutrino oscillation experiments. Furthe…
The active muon shield in the SHiP experiment
SHiP collaboration, A. Akmete, A. Alexandrov +229
The SHiP experiment is designed to search for very weakly interacting particles beyond the Standard Model which are produced in a 400 GeV/c proton beam dump at the CERN SPS. An ess…
