Ground-Based Submillimagnitude CCD Photometry of Bright Stars Using Snapshot Observations
Andrew W. Mann, Eric Gaidos, Greg Aldering
We demonstrate ground-based submillimagnitude (<10^-3) photometry of widely separated bright stars using snapshot CCD imaging. We routinely achieved this photometric precision by (…
A Disk Around the Planetary-Mass Companion GSC 06214-00210 b: Clues About the Formation of Gas Giants on Wide Orbits
Brendan P. Bowler, Michael C. Liu, Adam L. Kraus +2
We present Keck/OSIRIS 1.1-1.8 um adaptive optics integral field spectroscopy of the planetary-mass companion to GSC 06214-00210, a member of the ~5 Myr Upper Scorpius OB associati…
M2K: II. A Triple-Planet System Orbiting HIP 57274
Debra A. Fischer, Eric Gaidos, Andrew Howard +14
Doppler observations from Keck Observatory have revealed a triple planet system orbiting the nearby mid-type K dwarf, HIP 57274. The inner planet, HIP 57274b, is a super-Earth with…
On the Nature of Small Planets around the Coolest Kepler Stars
Eric Gaidos, Debra A. Fischer, Andrew W. Mann +1
We constrain the densities of Earth- to Neptune-size planets around very cool (Te =3660-4660K) Kepler stars by comparing 1202 Keck/HIRES radial velocity measurements of 150 nearby…
