HATS-6b: A Warm Saturn Transiting an Early M Dwarf Star, and a Set of Empirical Relations for Characterizing K and M Dwarf Planet Hosts
J. D. Hartman, D. Bayliss, R. Brahm +25
We report the discovery by the HATSouth survey of HATS-6b, an extrasolar planet transiting a V=15.2 mag, i=13.7 mag M1V star with a mass of 0.57 Msun and a radius of 0.57 Rsun. HAT…
Stellar rotational periods in the planet hosting open cluster Praesepe
Geza Kovacs, Joel D. Hartman, Gaspar A. Bakos +6
By using the dense coverage of the extrasolar planet survey project HATNet, we Fourier analyze 381 high-probability members of the nearby open cluster Praesepe (Beehive/M44/NGC 263…
HATS-4b: A Dense Hot-Jupiter Transiting a Super Metal-Rich G Star
A. Jordán, R. Brahm, G. Á. Bakos +31
We report the discovery by the HATSouth survey of HATS-4b, an extrasolar planet transiting a V=13.46 mag G star. HATS-4b has a period of P = 2.5167 d, mass of Mp = 1.32 Mj, radius…
HAT-P-49b: A 1.7 M_J Planet Transiting a Bright 1.5 M_S F-Star
A. Bieryla, J. D. Hartman, G. A. Bakos +18
We report the discovery of the transiting extrasolar planet HAT-P-49b. The planet transits the bright (V = 10.3) slightly evolved F-star HD 340099 with a mass of 1.54M_S and a radi…
