Design, Construction and Performance Tests of a Prototype MicroMegas Chamber with Two Readout Planes in a Common Gas Volume
Bernard Brickwedde, Andreas Düdder, Matthias Schott +1
In this paper, the design and the performance of a prototype detector based on MicroMegas technology with two detection planes in a common gas volume is discussed. The detector is…
Construction of two large-size four-plane micromegas detectors
Michele Bianco, Hans Danielsson, Jordan Degrange +14
We report on the construction and initial performance studies of two micromegas detector quadruplets with an area of 0.5 m. They serve as prototypes for the planned upgrade pro…
Development and Study of a Micromegas Pad-Detector for High Rate Applications
Tai-Hua Lin, Andreas Düdder, Matthias Schott +1
In this paper, the design and the performance of two prototype detectors based on Micromegas technology with a pad readout geometry is discussed. In addition, two alternative imple…
Signal Characteristics of a Resistive-Strip Micromegas Detector with an Integrated Two-Dimensional Readout
Tai-Hua Lin, Andreas Düdder, Matthias Schott +3
In recent years, micropattern gaseous detectors, which comprise a two-dimensional readout structure within one PCB layer, received significant attention in the development of preci…
