Simply Unnatural Supersymmetry
Nima Arkani-Hamed, Arpit Gupta, David E. Kaplan +2
The current measurement of the Higgs mass, the ubiquitous nature of loop-suppressed gaugino masses in gravity-mediated supersymmetry breaking, relic dark matter density from …
Gaugomaly Mediation Revisited
Arpit Gupta, David E. Kaplan, Tom Zorawski
Most generic models of hidden sector supersymmetry breaking do not feature singlets, and gauginos obtain masses from anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking. If one desires a natur…
Searching for Direct Stop Production in Hadronic Top Data at the LHC
David E. Kaplan, Keith Rehermann, Daniel Stolarski
We argue that evidence can be uncovered for stops between 300-600 GeV in 5 fb^-1 of 7 TeV proton-proton collisions if they decay into top quarks and light neutral particles. We als…
Displaced Supersymmetry
Peter W. Graham, David E. Kaplan, Surjeet Rajendran +1
The apparent absence of light superpartners at the LHC strongly constrains the viability of the MSSM as a solution to the hierarchy problem. These constraints can be significantly…
Semiconductor Probes of Light Dark Matter
Peter W. Graham, David E. Kaplan, Surjeet Rajendran +1
Dark matter with mass below about a GeV is essentially unobservable in conventional direct detection experiments. However, newly proposed technology will allow the detection of sin…
