Modeling lens potentials with continuous neural fields in galaxy-scale strong lenses
Luca Biggio, Georgios Vernardos, Aymeric Galan +1
Strong gravitational lensing is a unique observational tool for studying the dark and luminous mass distribution both within and between galaxies. Given the presence of substructur…
Euclid preparation: XXII. Selection of Quiescent Galaxies from Mock Photometry using Machine Learning
Euclid Collaboration, A. Humphrey, L. Bisigello +206
The Euclid Space Telescope will provide deep imaging at optical and near-infrared wavelengths, along with slitless near-infrared spectroscopy, across ~15,000 sq deg of the sky. Euc…
Euclid preparation. XXI. Intermediate-redshift contaminants in the search for galaxies within the Euclid Deep Survey
Euclid Collaboration, S. E. van Mierlo, K. I. Caputi +203
(Abridged) The Euclid mission is expected to discover thousands of z>6 galaxies in three Deep Fields, which together will cover a ~40 deg2 area. However, the limited number of Eucl…
Euclid preparation. XVIII. The NISP photometric system
Euclid Collaboration, M. Schirmer, K. Jahnke +220
Euclid will be the first space mission to survey most of the extragalactic sky in the 0.95-2.02 m range, to a 5 point-source median depth of 24.4 AB mag. This unique photomet…
